Free publicity for Suicide Girls?

Boing Boing: Suicide Girls: rumor-debunking time
Could this be a clever way to get drum up some buzz and get more hits (subscribers)? Does anyone know which pictures they have taken down? And why would a porn site which believes it is 100% legal do something like this? I’m sure they have a lawyer, right?
Call me jaded but I think this was an excellent way to drum up some more business.

I believe the truth to your question lies within, it’s a very short, pointed, read-only blog

It’s not a publicity stunt. The removal of the photos were an attempt to keep the site listed as softcore during a Federal Criminal Court Case that is total b.s. which they’ve been attempting to cover-up. Blame George Bush? Blame Sean Suhl.
Also, it was a convenient way to diffuse attention away from the +30 models who left over a few weeks, most of whom were the highest rated models and most intimate with the site owner.
